Scouts are
the oldest group we cater for and their age is 10 to 14. Scout
meetings are on a Tuesday night between 7.00pm and 8.30pm throughout the winter and from 6.30-8.30 from Easter until October half term during term time. There are some weekend activities which you will be notified of as and when they occur. The majority of scout activities will be posted either on our facebook page or the scout section of the website
MEETINGS
Cubs meetings are on Thursdays between 6.00pm and 8.00pm. Children are aged between 8years and 10 1/2 years.
We also have a number of Duke of Edinburgh volunteers, so if you want to volunteer, please enquire.
Beavers are the youngest group aged between 6 and 8 They meet on a Wednesday night between 6.00pm and 7.30pm.
Whilst scouting is about outdoor
activities and has a religious background, all meetings are open to
children of all abilities, faiths and genders.
Whole group camps.
As this year is our centenary there are two camps where ALL the sections are invited to attend as the entire group.
These are:
Botany Bay group centenary camp 21-23 April 2012.
and
Portcullis area jamboree Victoria Fields Monmouth 25th-27th May 2012

FUNDRAISING
Don't forget our fundraising campaign for our centenary year. All funds riased go to benefit the children of the group. Check out our campaign page BUT please don't forget to register with easy fundraising. The more you spend the more we earn!
